Oil & Water - sole to soul… or 2 two-ingredient solutions for head-to-toe well being & youthfulness

Try Magnesium oil for the soles of your feet and 300+ other body functions…

It’s speculated that as many as 75% of North Americans are deficient in magnesium, which is essential for more than 300 enzymatic functions including activation of ATP (adenosine triphosphate).

Since ATP is the energizer of all your cells, and thus a key component in skin renewal (your largest organ), it’s worth your while to consider a magnesium supplement for this, (plus the 299+ other reasons.)  Link to source

And therein lies the charm.  If you’ve ever taken magnesium supplements orally, in any of its forms, you likely know that it can (does for me!!) cause digestive disturbances including overly-loose bowel movements (aka diarrhea).

This is where Magnesium oil can be a wonderful alternative to an oral supplement, as it can be absorbed transdermally (through the pores of your skin). Despite its name, Magnesium oil isn’t actually an oil, but simply magnesium chloride salt dissolved in water. The solution takes on a slippery texture, thus the name.

You can buy the Magnesium oil premade (two ingredients magnesium chloride flakes and purified water) or simply purchase the flakes and make your own oil at a ratio of 1 to 1 (so, 1 cup mag flakes and 1 cup purified water).

Heat the water in a glass pot, stir in and dissolve the flakes, then cool.  Store your Magnesium oil in a glass spray or dropper bottle for convenient use.

Many folks apply their Magnesium oil to the bottoms of their feet at bedtime.  Some report a tingling or itching, which will likely lessen with continued use and most experience an exfoliation reaction, revealing buttery soft soles.  If either the tingling or peeling occurs for you and bothers you, then simply rinse the oil off after about 30 minutes. • (I spritz Magnesium oil onto the soles of my client’s feet at the beginning of their Lift Rejuvenation Treatments to give added benefit to their experience and results.)

The Magnesium flakes that I have used with great success are available from National Nutrition, (or you can search for your own brand, just make sure that you are buying high quality flakes, best if originating from The Dead Sea).  I have personally spoken to the owner of Magnascent to verify the purity of this product.  He even drinks Magnesium oil, which I am neither endorsing nor recommending, but it definitely spoke into the purity of this product.

Try Rose water for the windows to your soul…

Rose water is known for rejuvenating the skin as it is mildly astringent and works as a gentle toner, especially for sensitive or mature skin.  Put some in a spritzer bottle and mist your face.  Be sure to inhale as you do so, as the scent is divine – heavenly - which is a boost for your soul!

Beyond that, did you know that Rose water can be instrumental in reducing dark circles? Soak two cotton pads in rose water and place them on your closed eyelids for a few minutes. Link to Source

Also, you can get instant relief from burning, red or inflammatory eyes by dropping two to three drops of rosewater in each eye and closing them for a few minutes. Whether you have computer eyestrain, eye allergies, etc., Rose water is a natural remedy and is one of the ingredients used in Ayurvedic medicine that may be easy on your eyes. Link to source

  • (I have a nano-mister that I fill with Rose water and use during the finale of a micro-current facial rejuvenation treatment to soothe, hydrate and calm my clients’ eye/area.)
You can make Rose water yourself, with enough rose petals and distilled water, or there are some beautiful brands out there, just make sure to check for organic and purity status.  Again, just two ingredients - rose petals and purified water – be sure that there are no additional ingredients!!!

The brand of Rose water that I adore is available on Amazon
